Formerly trading as Calect Electrical and established in 1993, Laser Electrical Kurow is directed by Calum Reid. Calum has over 20 years of experience in the electrical industry, from light domestic work right through to heavy industry, and was asked to join the Laser Franchise Group in January 2004. Being the Laser Electrical Franchisee for Kurow allows Calum and his team access to excellent quoting software and makes them a member of an ever-growing network of electrical contractors across the country. This in turn increases their efficiency and allows them to achieve sustainable growth in their area.

Laser Electrical Kurow is dedicated to the Waitaki Valley and because of this they offer a 24-hour call out service. They are involved in work in the commercial, domestic and dairy industries and Calum believes strongly in the need to future ‘proof’ any installation his team carries out to allow technology to be more easily integrated with existing systems as it progresses. Laser Electrical Kurow offers design and build systems with all the extras including alarms and under floor heating.

One important aspect that Laser Electrical Kurow now pride themselves as specialists in is the irrigation industry. They recently completed a 600 hectare community based irrigation system. From simple single-phase systems to the larger three-phase systems, Calum can organise the electrical installation and servicing for your irrigation system.
